Deadline: 9 November | The Ethical Journalism Network (EJN) is looking for a new Director and CEO from 31 March 2019.
The EJN is a media development charity, which works in over 30 countries with publishers, editors and journalists to support ethical journalism and good governance. Since its inception five years ago the EJN has more than doubled in size under its founder and now President, Aidan White. For the last year, Chris Elliott has worked with Aidan to oversee that transition. Now we are looking for someone who can build and develop its core mission in a digital age.
Location: Working from home but based in the London area
Salary: According to experience
Hours: Full time, occasionally working weekends with time off in lieu

The role is to manage, organise and administer the affairs of the EJN on behalf of the Board of Trustees. This includes:
- Developing and delivering an activities programme that advances the education, skills and competence of people engaged in all forms of journalistic work at all levels of media and across all platforms of media throughout the world.
- Strengthening the strategic partnerships of the EJN with the global media community and with the EJN’s strategic partners including donors, universities, media support groups and civil society.
