Syli is seeking an Ecosystem Development Manager to help advance its mission-driven journalism initiatives that promote access to equitable, trustworthy, and impactful information worldwide — with a focus on climate storytelling. This role is key to turning Syli’s strategies into collaborative global action and fostering a sustainable media ecosystem that empowers audiences to take informed action for people, communities, and the planet.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with media organizations, public broadcasters, and global partners aligned with Syli’s mission.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives that drive growth and innovation.
- Facilitate community-building activities such as workshops, events, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Map and analyze the media ecosystem to identify opportunities for collective action.
- Promote Syli’s values and advocate for its work across international networks and stakeholder groups.
- Track and report on ecosystem performance, ensuring measurable outcomes and impact.
- Coordinate with policy and regulatory bodies to align ecosystem growth with relevant frameworks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnership development, community building, or stakeholder engagement, preferably within an international or rapidly growing organization.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage projects, deadlines, and diverse stakeholder needs.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with attention to clarity and accuracy.
- Experience facilitating collaborations and guiding multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Knowledge of ecosystem mapping, innovation strategies, or media development processes.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and online collaboration tools.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Commitment to Syli’s mission of sustainable journalism and climate-focused impact.
