Transparency International (TI) is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist (m/f/d) to join its dynamic communications team in Berlin. The successful candidate will support the organization’s brand, influencing, and engagement goals by producing high-quality content across digital platforms and strengthening story-gathering from TI’s global movement to showcase the fight against corruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver strategic digital communications activities aligned with brand and engagement goals, ensuring outputs follow best practice and SEO standards.
- Lead the production of the weekly email newsletter, driving supporter and community engagement.
- Manage TI’s Voices for Transparency blog, generating ideas, drafting, editing, and ensuring integration with broader communications goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues across TI’s global network to identify and gather compelling stories, ensuring informed consent and quality visuals.
- Create and adapt content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube), including posts, graphics, and short-form videos.
- Monitor, measure, and report on digital performance using analytics tools, and make recommendations for improvement.
Contribute to TI’s digital strategy and support other communications tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital content, digital communications, or digital marketing. Experience in NGOs on political, economic, environmental, or human rights issues is desirable.
- Degree in communications, journalism, social science, management, or related fields.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills (native-level). Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic is an asset.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword planning, and platform-specific content tailoring.
- Proficiency in CMS tools (e.g., Craft), Canva, Adobe Suite, and basic video editing.
