The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) is seeking a skilled Digital Communications & Marketing Officer to lead and manage its digital and social media communications, marketing strategy, and content production — supporting KAM’s mission to advance the manufacturing sector through effective engagement, visibility, and member outreach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage content creation and publishing across social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to engage audiences, grow membership outreach, and expand digital reach.
  • Monitor and analyze social media and engagement metrics to assess impact and inform future strategy.
  • Plan and run digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other online channels. corporatestaffing.
  • Develop email newsletters, coordinate online advertising initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams on marketing outreach.
  • Produce, edit, and publish high-quality video and podcast content for KAM’s digital channels.
  • Lead photographic coverage of stakeholder engagements and events, edit and caption photos for publication.
  • Develop engaging content — blogs, social media posts, videos — to support campaigns, communications, and marketing initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in digital communications, marketing, social media management or similar roles.
  • Strong skills in digital content creation — writing, editing, video, podcasting, photography. Podcast-production experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow digital engagement and manage digital marketing or communications strategies effectively.
  • Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills; able to coordinate with internal teams and external partners or agencies.
