UNESCO is seeking a qualified marketing and advertising agency to design and implement a creative communications campaign addressing cyberbullying across Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative aims to raise awareness, empower victims, and strengthen referral and reporting mechanisms through a multi-channel approach that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a multi-channel communications strategy to combat cyberbullying.
- Develop content for radio, television, newspapers, and digital platforms to maximize reach and impact.
- Produce toolkits and resources for parents, teachers, and youth organizations.
- Create compelling storytelling and messaging to raise awareness of cyberbullying’s risks and consequences.
- Promote proactive action by victims, including blocking perpetrators and reporting incidents.
- Ensure messaging is culturally resonant and accessible across Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Coordinate with UNESCO’s Procurement and Contracting Unit to deliver campaign outputs in line with requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in marketing, advertising, and communications for social impact.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and executing large-scale awareness campaigns.
- Capacity to deliver multi-channel strategies across traditional and digital media.
- Strong understanding of youth engagement and issues related to online safety.
- Ability to produce culturally relevant content for diverse linguistic and cultural groups.
- Track record of delivering results-oriented campaigns that inspire behavioral change.
