Communications Associate

Impact Hub Nairobi is seeking a creative and motivated Communications Associate to strengthen its brand visibility and amplify the stories of its entrepreneurial community. The successful candidate will support strategic communications, lead content development, and contribute to growing the organisation’s digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of strategic communications across the organisation.
• Manage social media channels and website content to ensure engaging, timely, and consistent messaging.
• Develop digital campaigns that highlight Impact Hub Nairobi’s programs, entrepreneurs, and community initiatives.
• Create multimedia content, including graphics, short videos, and storytelling assets.
• Support communications for events, including promotion, live coverage, and post-event visibility.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to align messaging and strengthen overall outreach.

Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in communications, digital media, or content creation.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing social media platforms and digital content workflows.
• Ability to produce basic multimedia assets (graphics, short videos, or similar).
• Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact.
• Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
