Oxfam Novib is seeking a skilled and visionary consultant to develop an advocacy brief and communications toolkit in support of its participation at the 4th Global Feminist Foreign Policy Conference in Paris (27–28 October 2025). This project will help articulate decolonial, justice-driven feminist foreign policy demands and equip the organization with impactful messages to engage with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- FFP actors and developments across the Global Minority and Majority
- ODA spending on gender equality (with country rankings)
- Good practices beyond aid, and recent backlash or funding cuts
- Draft a 5-page advocacy brief outlining:
- Oxfam’s feminist foreign policy vision and demands
- Actionable recommendations for policymakers and civil society
- Create a communications toolkit including:
- Messaging for Instagram, LinkedIn, and BlueSky
- A traditional media brief with key facts
- Work independently and remotely during the consultancy period while coordinating with Oxfam Novib’s Gender Justice & Social Inclusion Policy Lead
Qualifications
- Experience in gender justice, foreign policy, peace and security, or related fields
- Strong skills in policy analysis, advocacy writing, and brief development
- Familiarity with feminist, decolonial, or rights-based policy frameworks
- Strong understanding of Global Majority perspectives; Global Majority-based applicants are highly encouraged
- Available to work remotely between 11–29 August 2025
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English
