The African Philanthropy Media Fellowship is a 6-week programme aimed at advancing accurate and compellingly reporting on African-led philanthropy and development. It is a fully virtual programme designed to equip emerging journalists, content creators, and media practitioners across Africa with the knowledge, skills, and networks central to African-led philanthropy and development.

Under the theme “Beyond Aid: Reporting African-Led Philanthropy,” the fellowship focuses on:
- Strengthening understanding of Africa’s philanthropy ecosystem.
- Building practical storytelling and data-driven reporting skills.
- Supporting fellows to produce publishable stories that amplify African narratives, actors, and solutions.
