Advisor for Digital Analysis and Strategy (m/f/d)

CAMECO is seeking a candidate for the position of Advisor for Digital Analysis and Strategy (m/f/d) in Aachen, Germany. The candidate will contribute expertise on the development of digital strategies of partners from the Global South. Advisor will help them and the CAMECO team to learn from good practice in community-oriented grassroots communications.

Tasks:

• Draw up a needs analysis of the digital capacity of partners in the Global South.
• Accompany campaigns and develop trainings and toolboxes regarding the four key topics of digital campaigning,data-based analysis, public relations,digital sustainability models
• Analyse incoming project proposals with a digital focus
• Help selected project partners to develop their digital skills, particularly in the realm of public relations and digital communication strategy.

Qualifications:

• You have completed a university degree in journalism, social media management, online marketing, sustainability communication, cross-media communication, digital media development or a similar field.
• You have at least two years of career experience as a digital strategy analyst, digital campaigner or social media manager, preferably working for civil-society organisations or local media.
• You already have experience developing digital strategies for civil-society stakeholders in your country of origin in the Global South – and ideally beyond.
• You have already developed target-group-specific digital campaigns and data-based communication strategies and are experienced in public relations in civil society.
• You have a high sense of empathy for other cultures and can adapt flexibly to other contexts.
• You have a business-fluent command of English and already have basic knowledge of German (ideally at least level A1) and a willingness to develop this further. Ideally, you also have knowledge of French or Spanish.
