2024 Hammarskjöld Journalism Fellowship

The Dag Hammarskjöld Fund for Journalists is now accepting applications for the 2024 Hammarskjöld Journalism Fellowship from career print, television, radio or internet journalists from mainly developing nations of Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Oceania.

The 2024 Hammarskjöld Journalism Fellowship gives participants the opportunity to cover deliberations of the 79th United Nations General Assembly for approximately 10 weeks. Fellows will make professional contacts, interact with seasoned journalists and gain a broader perspective on global issues.

Applicants should have a compelling interest in international affairs and the work of the United Nations and its member agencies. Freelance journalists can also apply.

The fellowship includes travel, accommodations and a per diem allowance.
