The U.S. Embassy Islamabad’s Public Affairs Section is soliciting proposals for Building Better Media Business Models Program.

 

The implementer will be a legally recognized non-profit or non-governmental organization that meets U.S. and Pakistani technical and legal requirements to develop and implement public diplomacy programs as specified.

 

The project will provide training to Pakistani media outlets on new business models to generate and diversify private sector revenue and strategies for becoming more economically viable and independent.  Training would target small, medium, and large media outlets, as well as independent/entrepreneurial journalists, and consist of a series of workshops combined with opportunities for individual mentorship. The workshops would be national in scope.
