GFMD launches network analysis study

Author: Olga Komarova | 1. March 2021

At GFMD, one of the biggest challenges we often face as an organisation is understanding how our network of members and partners interact with one another. Many interactions are difficult to quantify, while others such as engaging in joint, collaborative activities, attending events, or applying for funding together are nearly impossible to track. That’s why, on 01 March, we are happy to announce the launch of our second network analysis study.

Jointly developed with Dr. Adam Saffer at the University of Minnesota, the study builds on our previous network analysis conducted in 2016 which was used to shape our organisational strategy in the past. This latest study will allow us to better understand our network, examine the connections among those associated with GFMD, and solidify our knowledge of the greater media development and journalism support community.

This survey has been designed for anyone working with one of our member or partner organisations, and is not limited to one person per organisation. We encourage all staff in your organisations to take the survey. We kindly ask you to set aside 20-30 minutes to complete this survey, as it will be invaluable to helping us understand how to better serve and connect you.

You can take the survey here: https://umn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1WStGfQGrLHJh2d

The survey will close on Monday, 15 March.
