GFMD LAUNCHES NEW COALITION FOCUSING ON THE SUSTAINABILITY OF JOURNALISM AND NEWS MEDIA

Author: Olga Komarova | 16. May 2019

In early April, GFMD received confirmation from the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Secretariat that our new Dynamic Coalition focusing on the sustainability of journalism and news media (DC-Sustainability) was approved. This positive development means that there is now a central hub where our community can collaborate together within the IGF and wider Internet governance ecosystem. Given the inextricable link between Internet policy and governance and the world of journalism and news media, it is vital that such a platform for development and collaboration exists.

Anyone can join by signing up to the mailing list, and you can read the overview and action plan here.
