International Journalism Festival 2027: Call for Programme Proposals

PERUGIA- The 21st International Journalism Festival will take place in Perugia from 14 to 17 April. Journalists can submit proposals for the programme.

Every April, Perugia hosts the biggest media event in Europe. The next festival (the 21st edition) will take place from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 April 2027. The English-language part of the festival programme will be concentrated on Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 April.

Details

• Accepted formats are panel discussions, presentations, workshops, interviews and other formats. Each proposal needs a title, a short description and the speakers.
• A panel normally has 3 speakers plus a moderator and lasts 50 minutes. Presentations and workshops normally have 1 or 2 speakers and no moderator.
• Send one proposal per email.
• Side-event proposals are also accepted, with a separate deadline of 14 April 2027.
• Accepted proposers will hear back between 2 and 10 January 2027. Unsuccessful proposers will not get a reply.
