CIJI Grants for Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI) certification audit

The Collaborative and Investigative Journalism Initiative, co-funded by the European Union, is offering up to six grants to help media organisations cover the cost of a Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI) certification audit, an independent process assessing transparency, ethics, and editorial accountability.

Eligibility

• Be an active and legally registered media organisation (print, television, radio, or digital) operating in one of the 27 Member States of the European Union
• Demonstrate a high degree of compliance with the JTI certification criteria and/or a clear commitment to implementing the necessary processes and policies to achieve full certification
• Have completed the JTI self-assessment and published the corresponding Transparency Report on the official platform (jti-app.com)
