Thematics
IMPACT sometimes seems to be a buzzword. For exiled media a particularly difficult one. It can cause sleepless nights when you need to demonstrate impact to donors and it seems like an impossible task, due to the restricted data, the implied risks, and the impossibility of establishing causal links. But the answer to the Impact question is also the reason to keep going and a legitimate source of pride. Topics for peer discussions will be identified based on topic proposals in the registration forms. Possible topics include:
- Exposing Corruption: Impact at Home & on International Level
- Solution Journalism: How to Perform & Measure Impact From Exile?
- Exiled Media as Chroniclers: Documentation of Injustice And (War) Crimes
- Fake-News Deconstruction: Uncovering Disinformation Campaigns
- Our Value for our Audiences: How to Track, How to Showcase without Harm?
- Important Source for International Media: Counting and Visualisation
- Strengthening the Media Ecosystem: Raising a New Generation of Independent Journalists from Exile
- Communication with Donors: Common Challenges and Misunderstandings when Talking about Impact
Interested professionals can register for the webinars using this online application form no later than May 24, 2026 – 11 p.m. (CET).
