Status: Open

Organisation: EU DisinfoLab

Deadline: 27/02/2026

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Do you have a publication or an idea for a talk addressing disinformation? Would you like to share your insights with a diverse community of academics, journalists, NGOs, government, and tech professionals? Do you have a theme in mind that a disinformation conference should absolutely cover?

The EU Disinfolab is inviting proposals for their annual conference #Disinfo2026 taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 6-8 October 2026. The conference brings together leading specialists from varied backgrounds, tackling the most pressing issues in the disinformation landscape.

Thematics

Based on the feedback of #Disinfo2025 attendees, EU Disinfolab is adding two more categories to this year’s call for proposals:

  • OSINT investigations: to go deep into investigating Manipulation Sets, Operations, and Campaigns, and provide the community with methodologies and pivot to improve the quality of investigations.
  • Solutions: we want to explore alternatives and solutions that have a concrete impact on curbing the spread of disinformation.
  • They are also looking for proposals for a pre-conference half-day workshop on 6 October.
