Positive Peace for Ethiopia (PPE) is a youth-led civil society organisation dedicated to empowering young people and women to drive peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and social cohesion across Ethiopia. Operating through 17 regional chapters, PPE champions inclusive participation in peace processes and strengthens community resilience through youth-focused peace initiatives, digital literacy and fact-checking programmes, women’s leadership and economic empowerment projects, and hate speech mitigation workshops.
Beyond its national work, PPE actively contributes to global peace and governance dialogues as a member of networks such as CSPPS and AFWAG. Through advocacy, capacity building, and community mobilisation, PPE is shaping a generation of young peacebuilders committed to justice, inclusion, and long-term stability in Ethiopia.
