- Eligibility Criteria: Must be a legal person (public entity or non-profit private entity). Must be a member of the TED Network, with all membership procedures completed by 15 December 2025. Must be established or represented in one of the eligible focus countries (locally registered, have local staff, or directly implement activities). Must be directly responsible for project management, implementation, and budget oversight. Must have a minimum annual turnover of €70,000 in both 2023 and 2024, proven through audited financial reports.
- Type of Funding: Grant funding for action-oriented research projects that expand practical knowledge on democracy support and strengthen democratic resilience in TED focus countries.
- Target Region: Projects must focus on one or more of theTED priority countries
- Application Language: English only.
Objectives
- Expand the TED Network’s evidence base on effective democracy support measures.
- Generate actionable, practitioner-driven research that provides practical solutions to democratic challenges.
- Strengthen alliances between national and international stakeholders in democracy support.
- Empower local actors to promote democratic resilience and foster sustainable democratic cultures.
- Ensure new knowledge supports EU Member States and TED partners in improving, scaling, and investing in effective democracy interventions.
