Journalism Sponsorship Revenue Accelerator

• Eligibility Criteria: Open to U.S.-based news organizations (non-governmental, legal entities). Teams must include 2–5 people, with at least one person in a leadership role for editorial/content and one person responsible for consumer revenue. Individual applicants are not eligible.
• Type of Funding: Media support
• Target Region: United States (only U.S. newsrooms are eligible).
• Application Language: Applications must be submitted in English through the Solutions Journalism Network application portal.

Objectives

• Demonstrate how solutions journalism can motivate audiences to financially support news organizations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate editorial and revenue innovation.
• Support and elevate journalists as leaders in audience-driven, revenue-generating journalism.
