Ideation Grants

• Eligibility Criteria: Open to individuals or early-stage, non-partisan organizations working in Europe with new, bold ideas that build better politics. Proposals must align with at least one of the Fund’s four areas of support (Cultivate, Upskill, Support, Connect). Applicants must be based in Europe, implement projects in Europe, and remain strictly non-partisan (no support for parties, candidates, or campaigns).
• Type of Funding: Ideation grants for testing and developing new approaches to political leadership and systems.
• Target Region: Europe
• Application Language: Applications submitted via the Better Politics Fund online form.

Objectives

To support innovative, early-stage initiatives that strengthen political leadership and systems in Europe by cultivating diverse pipelines, upskilling leaders, reforming systems, and making politics more connected and responsive.

Project Themes

•  Build pipelines for change, particularly for leaders from underrepresented backgrounds.
• Equip emerging and experienced leaders with critical skills for today’s challenges.
• Reform and strengthen political systems so representative leaders and new ideas can thrive.
• Make politics more impactful, connected, and responsive to citizens.

Financial Support: Grants ranging from €10,000 to €20,000.
