Media & Information Literacy (MIL) Ideathon

DW Akademie invites content creators, MIL influencers, educators, and NGOs to participate in an Ideathon during Global Media and Information Literacy Week (October 24–26, 2025) in Lviv, Ukraine. The event focuses on developing innovative solutions for teenagers and young people in the areas of cybersecurity, digital wellbeing, secure communication, cyberbullying, and creative digital education methods.

Objectives

• Develop innovative, practical solutions for young people on media and digital challenges.
• Apply design thinking methods supported by international experts.
• Explore interactive methodologies and gamification for media literacy.
• Provide a collaborative space for content creators, educators, and NGOs to co-create new formats.
• Support participants in turning ideas into implementable projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to content creators, MIL influencers, educators, and NGOs.
• Working language: English.
• Applicants must be available to attend in person in Lviv, Ukraine.
