Global Summit on Disinformation 2025

The Global Summit on Disinformation 2025 invites individuals and organizations to submit their ideas, research, or experiences to contribute to the global conversation on disinformation. This fully virtual and free event will take place on 17–18 September 2025, offering a collaborative space for sharing solutions, challenges, and strategies from across the world.

Project Objectives

• Gather global perspectives and grassroots experiences to address the spread of disinformation
• Share innovative solutions, research findings, and real-life case studies
• Foster cross-regional dialogue and collaboration among civil society, media, and academia
• Highlight local and regional efforts to combat disinformation and misinformation
• Promote open access to knowledge and amplify underrepresented voices in the global information space

Eligibility Criteria

• Individuals, researchers, journalists, activists, and organizations working on disinformation-related topics
• Applicants from all countries and regions
• Submissions accepted in Spanish, English, or Portuguese
• Proposals must include a title, short description, and a link to related material
• Commitment to participate virtually in the Summit on 17–18 September 2025
