Join WWF’s Global Communications team to lead the development and execution of a creative content strategy that makes biodiversity loss, climate change, and other critical issues visible, compelling, and actionable to global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead WWF’s global content strategy to ensure storytelling that is emotionally engaging, culturally relevant, and science-based.
- Oversee high-quality multimedia production (videos, editorials, reports, social content, etc.).
- Collaborate across internal teams to align global content for campaigns and platforms (e.g., CMS websites).
- Ensure content localization with regional teams and amplify reach via relevant channels and partners.
- Manage content partnerships and co-branded collaborations with NGOs, agencies, and aligned companies.
- Build and mentor a global, multidisciplinary creative team (writers, videographers, editors, designers).
- Use data and audience analytics to track and improve performance, impact, and engagement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in content strategy, global communications, or creative leadership roles.
- Proven experience with high-impact storytelling (preferably on environmental or social justice themes).
- Experience managing content pipelines and global teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong visual, editorial, and digital engagement skills.
- Proficient in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Google Analytics, Meltwater, Sprout, etc.
- Excellent English (written and spoken); fluency in other languages is a plus.
- Background in sustainability, conservation, or creative agency work preferred.
