Objectives
- Equip decision-makers, media, educators, and civil society with tools to understand and counter radicalisation, hate speech, extremism, and polarisation.
- Provide insights into how youth engage with extremist narratives online and offline.
- Improve understanding of extremist communication networks, both online and offline.
- Develop actionable methodologies, tools, narratives, and training materials.
Project Themes
- Understanding links between inequality, radicalisation, and hate.
- Providing effective tools and methods for policymakers and media.
- Assessing the impact of radical campaigns and different forms of communication (beyond social media).
And at least one of the following: - Mapping hate ecosystems online (qualitative & quantitative tools).
- Investigating the role of disinformation and FIMI in promoting radicalisation and hate.
- Analyzing media consumption patterns and their impact on opinion formation.
- Exploring the role of AI and media in countering disinformation and hate.
- Developing meta-tagging systems and journalistic practices that enhance public debate.
- Producing training tools and educational methods to prevent hate and polarisation in schools.
