Objectives

• Support the creation and development of sustainable, high-quality media projects in Vienna
• Provide financial and professional resources for new or growing media companies
• Encourage innovation and professional development in the media sector
• Promote gender inclusion through targeted support for women-led initiatives

Project Themes

• Development of new media services and content
• Professional training, courses, and consultations for media professionals
• Internal payroll support for project-related activities
• Travel expenses for media-related project work
• Capacity building for media entrepreneurs
• Projects led by qualified women media professionals (eligible for a women’s bonus)

Financial Support:

Grant Size: Up to EUR 100,000 per project
Funding Rate:
• 60% for newly founded or founding media companies
• 45% for existing media companies
Minimum Project Value: EUR 10,000
Women’s Bonus: EUR 10,000 for projects led by qualified women
Upfront Payment: Up to 50% of the approved amount can be paid in advance
