The African Investigative Journalism Conference (AIJC 2025), hosted by the Wits Centre for Journalism (WCJ) in partnership with SKUP (Norway) and Bellingcat, invites applications for an intensive three-day masterclass on the latest techniques in investigative journalism. This exclusive training will precede the annual AIJC conference taking place from 5 to 7 November 2025 at Wits University in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Experienced investigative journalists, editors, and media trainers from African countries
  • Applicants with a strong professional track record and recent investigative work
  • Individuals who are available to travel between 31 October/1 November and 8/9/10 November 2025
  • Applicants with a valid passport and the ability to secure their own visa if required
