- Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be based in Belgium, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, or Serbia and fall into one of the following categories:Local/community* non-profit, public interest, or private media outlets producing written, online, radio, TV, or podcast content with continuous publication for at least one year.Freelancers who are citizens or residents of the eligible countries, with at least five years of publication experience in registered media.Civil society organisations focused on news media, registered for at least one year in the eligible countries.Applicants must be directly responsible for the project’s preparation and management. - Type of Funding: Media Support

Objectives
- Mobilise collaboration and innovative practices among local media to safeguard media pluralism and independence in hostile environments.
- Strengthen business models and improve the quality and influence of local independent journalism.
- Empower local media with the necessary skills, tools, and support to overcome technological and political challenges.

Financial Support: Grants ranging from €16,000 to €20,000, covering up to 80% of eligible project costs.
