Communications & Partnerships Manager

Stichting Limelight Foundation – a values-driven philanthropic organisation based in Amsterdam – is hiring a Communications & Partnerships Manager to lead its strategic communications and build funding relationships that help strengthen the information ecosystem across Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the public image and outreach strategy of a young yet impactful foundation supporting journalism and civil society at a critical moment for democracy and information integrity.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, fundraising, or partnership development.
• University degree preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong ability to convey complex concepts in accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience producing content for websites, social media, reports, newsletters, etc.
• Skilled in stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable.
• Strong alignment with Limelight’s mission and values.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign of Limelight’s website and brand identity, managing external service providers.
• Oversee the annual report, from content gathering to design and dissemination.
• Maintain and grow social media and online presence, developing strategy and content.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication outputs.
• Co-develop and execute a strategy to diversify and grow funding partnerships.
• Prepare tailored materials for donors and partners.
• Manage relationships with current and prospective partners through regular updates and meetings.
• Organize roundtables, partner dinners, and other networking events to expand Limelight’s visibility and engagement.
