MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP)

• Eligibility Criteria: Open to nationals of one of the 11 eligible MENA countries, Must return to your home country upon completion of the course, 50% of scholarships are reserved for female applicants, Must meet RNTC course entry requirements and be proficient in English, May require a government statement, depending on your country, A valid passport or national ID, A completed employer statement (using the Nuffic template, signed and stamped)

 Objectives

To support media professionals from the MENA region through short-term in-person training opportunities in the Netherlands, promoting professional development and capacity-building in journalism, content creation, and counter-disinformation efforts.

Project Themes / Courses on Offer

• Media Campaigns for Social Change and Advocacy: Design impactful traditional and online campaigns to inspire change.
• Digital Content Creation: Learn to produce high-quality multimedia for broadcast and web platforms.
• Digital Media to Counter Disinformation and Hate Speech: Gain tools to fight disinformation, hate speech, and online polarization.
• Public Interest Journalism: Craft compelling investigative stories that create societal impact.

 Financial Support: Covers full participation costs, including: Tuition, Travel, Accommodation, Daily allowance
