One World Media is searching for an inspiring leader to become their next Chair of the Board of Trustees. This pivotal role comes at a transformative time for their charity, coinciding with the delivery of their new strategic vision.

About the One World Media

Their programmes include the prestigious annual One World Media Awards that shine a spotlight on the very best global media coverage, celebrating those who challenge narratives and broaden perspectives. Through their talent development initiatives, they also champion emerging journalists and content producers working on underreported international stories, providing learning opportunities, mentorship, and access to the media platforms.

Their projects span the globe, focusing on impactful storytelling and social change. This year, in Kenya and Nigeria, they are collaborating with journalists and filmmakers to create compelling health solutions films. Meanwhile, in Mexico, their Global Reporting Summit considers the disproportionate effects of climate change on women in Latin America and the Caribbean. They are also working alongside the Pulitzer Centre and the Financial Times, to provide a grant for a global filmmaker to explore the relationship between labour and the climate.

Are you our next Chair?

For the Chair of the Board of Trustees, they are seeking a dynamic individual with senior-level experience gained from either the creative industries or international development sector.
