Do you want to reach an important niche audience or diversify your business model? Innovation is key to staying relevant as a media outlet. Journalismfund Europe and International Media Support announce the launch of an innovative project, “Pluralistic Media for Democracy”.

Through strategic support in innovation, business sustainability, and audience engagement, the programme will empower media organisations to continue their critical role in upholding democracy and fostering informed public discourse across Europe.

Funding Information

• The total available amount per call to be distributed among all supported projects will be €700,000.
• For the period 2024-2025, the programme will be supported by foundations (tbc) and the European Union.

For this grant programme, there are only 2 application rounds scheduled. Both will take place in 2025:

• The first deadline will be Thursday, 13 February 2025 at 1 pm CET
• The last deadline will be Thursday, 12 June 2025 at 1 pm CET
