The eligibility criteria for the Acceleration and Impact grants under this funding program are as follows:
– Candidate organisations must be officially declared in Mali as as a non-governmental and non-profit organisation.;
– Applications are only open to local CSOs active in Mali;
– Candidate organisations must be officially declared and recognised in Mali;
– Applicant organisations must have an office in Mali. - Type of Funding: Programmatic

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance has launched the Funding Program for Civil Society Organisations.
Grant Types
Six grants will be offered in Mali under this funding program, including three Impact grants and three Accelerator
- Larger grants primarily for national-level CSOs and global CSOs who are working in fragile or humanitarian settings.
- Smaller grants for national or sub-national CSOs that are new to the field of immunisations and/or Gavi funding, that require support to establish themselves in the field of immunisations. These grants will support Gavi’s aim of working with a more diverse range of CSOs.
Purpose of the grants
The general objectives of grants to civil society are:
- Increase demand and scale up uptake of vaccination services against preventable diseases, including Covid-19
- Will contribute to achieving at least 90% vaccination coverage of antigens
Duration
The expected duration of the application process, then pre-contractual development until signing the contract, is approximately three months. The subsidised projects could therefore start around January 2025 and must be completed by June 2026 at the latest.

- Accelerator: $100,000 and $150,000
