MedFemiNiswiya is committed to dismantling patriarchal narratives in the public sphere and offering feminist content to Arabophone, Francophone, and Anglophone users from the Mediterranean region. Their mission focuses on reducing information gaps and fostering human connections between the different Mediterranean subregions. They aim to engage the public in women’s issues across borders, enhance the visibility of women’s contributions, and cover feminist movements and constructive debates.
Their vision is to create a safe, inclusive platform for women journalists, free from traditional male-dominated newsrooms, hate speech, and misogyny. As a network of feminist journalists, MedFemiNiswiya publishes multilingual content on their platform www.medfeminiswiya.net. They also organise activities such as training, public events, and press conferences to support women in media across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
