Media and Communications Trainers from Mongolia

DW Akademie is looking for trainers for a media and communications project with civil society organisations in Mongolia.

Deutsche Welle, through DW Akademie, with funding from the European Union, is publishing the following tender in support of the implementation of the project: “Voices for Change: CSOs join forces to advocate for Accountability, Transparency and Public Awareness”.

Project Objective

In cooperation with Media Council Mongolia (MCM), the project aims to strengthen the Mongolian civil society sector by gathering civil society actors (CSOs) to establish common quality standards and by building public awareness for civil society concerns.

Project Output

Selected CSOs from urban and rural areas of Mongolia are trained to define and master core tasks concerning their public relations and communication in order to enable public coverage of civic work achievements.

Deliverables

As Media and Communications Trainers, the following will be expected of you:

• 3-day curriculum and trainings (offline) for civil society actors from urban and rural areas of Mongolia to strengthen their skills in public relations and corporate communication, with special regard to social media platforms.
• Participation in ToTs
• Mentoring for accountable CSOs
• Documentation of any training materials used (in English and Mongolian language).
• Analysis and publication of findings (in both Mongolian and English).
