Fondation Hirondelle seeks to hire a Project Coordinator who will work under the responsibility of the National Representative based in Bangui on the operations of the organisation in the Central African Republic (CAR).
The Project Coordinator will ensure the achievement of the objectives of the Radio Ndeke Luka project, a media outlet created and supported by Fondation Hirondelle in CAR, as well as other related activities and projects.
The coordinator also contributes to the overall coordination of activities and fosters a spirit of collaboration and exchange of best practices within the team.
Responsibilities
As Project Coordinator, you will be involved in:
Analysis and Proposal Development
- Produce activity reports and analysis or summary notes related to the context or field of intervention of Radio Ndeke Luka as requested by the National Representative (NR).
- Suggest adaptations to the context.
- Recommend solutions to identified problems.
Project Management and Activity Coordination
- Execute assigned tasks: planning, creating dashboards, coordinating implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure the proper financial execution of the project(s).
- Follow up with designated individuals (NR, Service and Support Coordinator, Financial Controller, and Program Manager).
Revenue Generation
- Play a key role in developing revenue-generating activities (public interest campaigns).
- Develop the commercial development strategy of Radio Ndeke Luka’s advertising agency.
- Implement tools for the entire activity cycle with the agency manager, including media product conceptualisation, marketing, client relations, contracting, internal validation process, financial monitoring, production and broadcasting activity monitoring, and reporting.
Representation and Support to the National Representative
- Assist the NR in coordinating project-related activities.
- Represent the NR in certain external meetings and events as requested.
Qualifications
- 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of the project cycle and excellent writing skills, including report writing, particularly for the European Union.
- You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
- You are fluent in spoken and written French.
- You are experienced in staff management.
- You work autonomously and are recognised for your integrity, rigor, precision, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- You possess good interpersonal skills, organisational abilities, and a strong sense of priorities.
- Experience in the Central African Republic is an advantage.
