Status: Closed
Funding Size: €2,200
Deadline: 15/07/2024
Exile Hub, in partnership with Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT), is providing the Critical Voices Production Grant to media professionals from Myanmar.
The Critical Voices Production Grant supports all professional groups involved in media production, including: journalists, citizen journalists, photojournalists, filmmakers, bloggers, producers, illustrators, and more! Women, members of ethnic minority groups, and the LGBTQI+ community are particularly encouraged to apply.
Its goal is to provide Myanmar media professionals with a platform to engage the public on pivotal subjects such as human rights, digital rights, gender equality, and freedom of expression. These projects can span various creative outputs, such as documentaries, photojournalist exhibitions, podcast channels, workshops and training, investigative journalism, and other impactful storytelling forms.
Grantees will be selected based on the timeliness and relevance of a project they propose to be completed in a 3-month period between July 25th and October 25th, 2024. Grantees must submit a final narrative report of the activities completed, including any links to online content, photos or videos, syllabus and feedback from coordinated trainings or workshops.
