Who is Who

The Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) concluded its fifth General Assembly in September 2021 with the election of a new Steering Committee representing GFMD’s designated regions in Asia, the Pacific, and Oceania; Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia; Europe (Northern, Southern & Western); Latin America and the Caribbean; North America, and the Middle East and North Africa; and Sub-Saharan Africa. Two Steering Committee members were elected to represent our topical or policy-focused members and three more were elected to represent members with a global focus.

The Steering Committee elected Zoe Titus (Namibia) to serve as Chair of GFMD. Jan Lublinski (Germany) was chosen as Deputy, and Ruth Kronenburg (Netherlands) as Treasurer.
