The European Commission (EC) is accepting proposals for the Thematic Programme on Human Rights and Democracy 2022-2023 call for proposals in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The global objective of this call for proposals is the promotion and protection of (i) human rights and fundamental freedoms; (ii) democracy; and (iii) the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The specific objectives of the Thematic Programme on Human Rights and Democracy call for proposals are:
Specific objective 1 (Lot 1): To protect human rights and fight discrimination
Specific objective 2 (Lot 2): To protect and promote human rights and democracy by supporting new technologies and engaging with the business sector
Specific objective 3 (Lot 3): To support accountable institutions, engaged citizens, and supporting a safe and enabling environment for civil society and independent media
Priorities of Lot 3: Supporting accountable institutions, engaged citizens and supporting a safe and enabling environment for civil society and independent media include:
The action is required to focus on at least one priority identified under the lot for which the application is to be submitted. Action can focus on more than one priority of the same lot, but this will not necessarily give any advantage during the evaluation of the applications.
