Human Rights And Religious Freedom Journalism Grant Program

• Eligibility criteria:
  Freelance journalists or full-time reporters with news organisations are eligible for grants and their reports can be published in reputable print, online, or broadcast media with a wide circulation. Topics must be timely and of clear interest and importance to Indian and Indian diaspora audiences. The stories that the grant supports must be in English.

Applications are now open for the Human Rights And Religious Freedom Journalism (HRRFJ) Grant Program to support early and mid-career journalists to pursue independent reporting projects that cover key challenges confronting the minorities and marginalized communities in India and the Indian diaspora in the United States.

The grant program will place a high value on in-depth investigative reporting on human rights and religious freedom issues. Multimedia proposals are welcome.
