Call for Proposals: Human Rights and Democracy (Mexico)

• Eligibility criteria:
  – Lead applicant(s): To be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:be a legal entity and
  not for profit; be a civil society organization Be established in Mexico, in a Member State of the European Union or in any eligible country in accordance with the base act 2122. However, taking into account the nature of the objectives of this call, priority will be given to Mexican civil society institutions and organizations. If the applicant is a non-Mexican organization, it must have a Mexican coapplicant, be directly responsible, with their co-applicants and affiliated entities, for the preparation and action management and not simply limit themselves to acting as intermediaries.

The European Commission (EC) is pleased to announce a call for proposals to: protect and empower people; build resilient, inclusive and democratic societies; promote a global system of human rights and democracy; new technologies: seize the opportunities and meet the challenges; achieve the goals set by working together.

The total indicative amount allocated to this call for proposals amounts to EUR 1,980,000. The Contracting Authority reserves the right not to award all available funds. Also, this amount may be increased in case of greater availability of funds.
