The global platform for human rights media and action

The month of December marked the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and also the beginning of a wonderful global conversation about the power of images to inspire change.  We asked you what images opened your eyes to human rights and you responded in hundreds of blogs, comments, and discussions across the web.  This video shows a small sample of your responses (learn more about these responses here) as well as an invitation to join and continue the conversation.

We will keep this conversation going throughout 2009 - when we’ll ask other questions on the most pressing human rights issues of our time - including the right to water, modern slavery, and women’s rights - and show how video plays a crucial role in sparking action and influencing policies to address them.  And we want you to add your own questions, and let us know what topic you’d like to talk about next.
